John Newell is back, the 2000 B class champion returns with a newly built race truck and this time he is ready to take on the challenge to race a level higher in A class. Built from the ground up by Stefan Honens this MAN is certainly a thing of beauty and had not turned a wheel before the official test session for the 4th round of the 2018 British Truck Racing Championship at Donington Park on the 19th of July. John was definitely challenged to drive his new race truck, as there is a big difference in comparison to the truck that he drove 17 years ago, but with Stefan´s help who was at Donington all weekend to support the team, John made really good progress every time he went out on track and both, Stefan and the team received several compliments for the new truck and their achievements at the weekend! The next race will take place at Snetterton on the 8th and 9th of September, the time until then will be used to test and optimise the truck!
